Research Network

The Research Network of the Hellenic Stroke Organization is a nationwide Research Network of researchers and centers with a focus on research related to prevention, diagnosis, management, treatment, rehabilitation, and training in Stroke and Cardiovascular Medicine.

The Research Network is characterized by multidisciplinarity, as its Members include researchers whose research and scientific backgrounds vary, such as Physicians of various specialties, Researchers, Nurses, Clinical Study Coordinators, postgraduate and undergraduate Students, and other Health Professionals.

The primary mission of the Research Network is the efficient and sustainable collaboration of researchers and centers with the aim of planning, creating and conducting research studies related to Stroke and Cardiovascular Medicine, which will concern the acute treatment, prevention and rehabilitation with the aim of producing new knowledge and through this, improving patient outcomes.

The Research Network also aims at the education, training and guidance of young researchers with a particular interest in research on Stroke and Cardiovascular Medicine and the successful support of postgraduate theses and doctoral theses.

Researchers and centers from all over Greece and Cyprus can participate in the Research Network after written application and its approval by the Scientific Committee of the Network with the consent of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Stroke Organization.

For more information and expressions of interest in participating at the Research Network of the Hellenic Stroke Organization, you can contact the Coordinator of the Nerwork Dr. Eleni Koromboki at info@stroke.gr.
